Can I trust you with my data?

General

THIS WEBSITE MAKES the process of creating mailing labels and printing envelopes as simple as possible. From your data we create MS Word and PDF files for you to print on your label or envelope stock (e.g. Avery labels).

It's easy to use. You can create a single page of the same label (an envelope is single label) or you can mail merge data on to labels and envelopes from your nofuss address book or from an Excel spreadsheet or csv file.

To experience what this site has to offer in the shortest time do the following:

  1. Register to create a user account.
  2. Select a font and label format.
  3. Click the "use my address" link at the top of your address book.
  4. Click the Create Labels button to create a single page of the same labels.

Explore the advanced features of the site by

  1. Adding names and addresses to your address book and then merging the contents.
  2. Downloading, modifying, uploading and merging the sample spreadsheet; or uploading your own Excel or csv file.

About uploading files

You can upload either Microsoft Excel (.xls) files or comma separated (.csv sometimes .txt) files. Many database applications can export structured data in csv format.

The first row of your spreadsheet or the first line of your csv file must contain field names.

About nofuss data format

If you can upload your data in our default format you don't need to select manually the fields to be shown on your mailing labels (although such a selection is easy to make on our site). The default format comprises 10 fields of which the first three contain addressee information and are displayed on the same line, e.g. title, firstname, surname as in Mr Angus Graham. The remaining seven fields contain address information and appear separately on subsequent lines.

When uploading in this format field names are ignored so they can be whatever is most convenient for you.

About printing envelopes

When creating and printing envelopes be sure to set your printer's page size to the size of your envelope.

About printing PDF files

Before printing a PDF file to labels you must set Page Scaling to None and uncheck Auto-Rotate and Center (these are Page Handling options on the Print dialog).

Can I trust you with my data?

YES! The only data that we hold online is that which you contribute to your online address book which is password protected.

Data that you upload for the purpose of merging is not stored online and output files are purged on a regular basis.
